ACQUIRES RAD HOME INTEGRATION

Insight Home Solutions, a privately held international group focused on the integration of home electronic systems, has acquired Calgary, AB's Smart Home Systems, an automated and integrated home systems design company.
Smart Home Systems is just the latest in a series of acquisitions Insight has been making to help extend its reach throughout Canada and the U.S. The company already previously acquired Coast Sound FX near Vancouver, BC; RAD Home Integration in Scottsdale, AZ; and Phoenix Home Theatre in Fountain Hills, AZ. Insight itself has offices in Calgary, Vancouver, Vancouver Island, Scottsdale, and the Phoenix Metropolitan area.
The acquisitions, says Insight, have been driven by the company's desire to "optimize home electronic systems" and "reinforce benchmark strategy and economies of scale, enhancing services and adding value for home electronics systems."
Insight Home Solutions offers entertainment, communications, security and convenience systems ranging from customized theatres, to intercoms and network access, to home systems and security controlled from an iPhone, iPad or smartphone.
